You can download the Corq App from Google Play or the Apple Store. Once downloaded, you'll be able to sign in with your Coby user information. What is Orientation?

Orientation is a way for new students to learn about the SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech campus and services we offer through specifically designed program sessions. Orientation is an opportunity for new students to ask questions about their academic, co-curricular experience, and to become active, engaged members of the Coby Community.

Christina Johnson

Pronouns: She/Her

Hello! My name is Christina and I'm an RA for Dix Hall and the Vice President of the Campus Engagement Board. I'm a junior majoring in Culinary Arts with a minor in Cannabis Science. I spend a lot of my time talking with others, roaming around campus, and cooking. I am usually seen everywhere and always around doing something if you ever want to sit and talk. I look forward to meeting everyone!

Hey y'all! I'm Danielle, a sophomore majoring in Culinary Arts. When I'm not in class, you'll usually find me working at Coby's or the Unity Center. If I'm not there, I'm probably watching anime, hanging out with friends, or catching up on sleep. I'm excited to meet you all, and if you see me around campus, don't be shy—come say hi! P.S. I'm terrible with names, but great with faces!

Hello! My name is Jadelyn (Jay) Colon, and I am a third-year student majoring in Wildlife Management (BT). I am from Manhattan, NY. On campus I am an RA for Parsons Hall. Hi and warm welcome. I'm Julie and I have ties to Poughkeepsie and Mount Vernon, NY. I am a junior with dual enrollment in the Biotechnology B.S. and Histotechnician A.S. Program. Proud to be Puerto Rican and African American. I have held a fair share of roles on campus but if I can't answer a question you have, I can point you in the right direction. For a small campus there is a lot offered here, I hope you make the most of it. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi, I'm Sam! I'm a Junior majoring in Animal Science B.S.! I'm PR for the Campus Engagement Board, a Student Ambassador, and a Resident Assistant in Parsons Hall, 6th floor! Orientation FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

All incoming students must first complete the Admissions application process. Once you are registered as a student you can sign up for Orientation. You can find the Orientation application on the Orientation web page.

Students are not asked to pay the Orientation fee the day of their Orientation session. Click here for more information on the Orientation fee and policy.

Once you sign up for Orientation you will receive an email to confirm your application. You will also receive email correspondence from SUNY Cobleskill up until your Orientation session date. For questions about Orientation, you can reach us at Orientation@cobleskill.edu  

Orientation is a two-day, one-night program where all students stay overnight on campus.

You can find all the Orientation dates available on the Corq App. 

It takes up to 72 business hours (2-3 business days) for information to be updated and for new students to be able to access their housing application. If you want more information about "How to" submit the Housing application click here! The contact information for Residential Life can be found on here.

We have great news! Academic Affairs is working to ensure that your Academic Schedule will be created before you arrive on campus for your Orientation. See the Accepted Students Information for a checklist of what to do before arriving on campus.
They are based on the Academic Program. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, however, a useful guide to look at is the College Catalogue. It has much more up to date information on your academic requirements.

Academic Affairs can answer many of your questions about your academic schedule for the fall semester. You will have PLENTY of time to connect with them WHILE you are here at Orientation, but rest assured, if you have questions before you arrive, see below for their contact info.
